ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ : ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬੀ ਪਪਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਕਥੂ ਨੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਪਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਮ ਦੀ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਪਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੌਮੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਐਕਟ (NSA) ਤਹਿਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪਪਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਤੋਂ ਡਿਬਰੂਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਡਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
