ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ : ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ‘ਚ 8 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਏ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਹਾਦਸੇ ‘ਚ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਵਰੁਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਬਚੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੈਂਗਲੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਕਮਾਂਡ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ‘ਚ ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਅਫਸੋਸ ਅੱਜ ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਕ੍ਰੈਸ਼ ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਰਵਾਈਵਰ ਵਰੁਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਸੋਗ ਵਿਅਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰ ਲਿਖਿਆ – ਗਰੁੱਪ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਵਰੁਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮਾਣ, ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਦੁਖੀ ਹਾਂ। ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਾਵਾਂ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ।
